Format templates: your translation comes out already laid out
Every board, court, or agency requires its own format: a specific typeface, particular margins, line spacing, sometimes numbered lines in the margin. Until now, you had to adjust that by hand, document by document.
What it does
Choose a format template and your translation is delivered already laid out to match it: typeface and font size, margins, line spacing, alignment, line numbering, and a header or footer when the template defines them.
How to use it
- Go to Formatting from the side menu — that's where your templates live.
- Create your own or start from one of the ready-made ones.
- When you create the order, choose the template in step 1.
- In Review, you'll see the document already in that format, and you can download it in Word to check it.
You can also set a default template in Settings so every order goes out using it.
Good to know
- It's optional: if you don't choose a template, the delivery comes out as it always has.
- The template overrides the document: if it specifies justified text, the result comes out justified even if the original was centered — the same goes for page orientation.
- Leader dot or dash rows run all the way to the margin, as the format requires.
- Anything the template doesn't define is kept as in the original document.

Does it change what I'm charged? No — pricing is still per page.
Does it work for scanned documents? Yes, the same as for digital ones.
